In order for Photovoltaics and Wind Power Plants to be a major component of our energy resources a way needs to be found to store the energy, since the time of peak energy production (sunny or windy) is not always the same as when the energy is needed. Hydrogen fuel cells are a possible way of efficiently storing this energy.
