Health Care for everyone in the US is long overdue for us to join the rest of the industrialized world. Mendocino Blog has 2 posts, one concerning a New York Times post from Paul Krugman and another concerning a recent proposal by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Paul Krugman is critical of Schwarzenegger's proposal in that it includes arrangements with private health insurers, thereby building inefficiencies into the system. A completely public administrative system similar to Medicare would be preferable.
